And a possibility to switch with sort by Total Earnings. Add sorting is a very easy task. We used to be able to sort by number of downloads OR by amt earned. I'd like to have that option back as well. An image that sells once for a few hundred dollars doesn't mean it's more "popular" that an image that has sold over 500X. it just means I got lucky with a great one time sale.
Stone Master
Eliminating the newest, fresh contents and last review is a HUGE HUGE HUGE mistake. I believe I am speaking for all contributors when I say that our images are totally lost now between pages, customers's will indeed be lost too ( I am speaking as one also) We really did not need this confusion and I can not understand the purpose of it All you can do now is get the previous option back so we can continue uploading our images, because sure we can not upload any until everything is fixed

It's not very helpful to just say 'soon'. Is that next week? Or next month (year)? I would like to know that too. Every smaller agency has a tidier interface without changing something all the time. I don't see how this new version benefits contributors or buyers but it sure disrupts everyone's normal activity.

And how could it be possible to deploy the site without sorting portfolio by date? Just forgotten? Seriously? Me too, have had to use a script on the earnings page since they updated it to include all those multiple tabs with tiny thumbnails that you have to magnify the page to see, useability has gone down hill and losing theTotal Downloads in 'Top performers' has made it pointless now. Harry Kasyanov
why did you remove the button to sort by a new? Please return it! This is very uncomfortable now.
Harry Kasyanov
And one more problem! Now if want to check my collections, I see huge preview of these collections and terrible pixelated preview and can't change quality
Grossinger
Shutterstock really needs to bring back the filter by new option on the portfolio page. I'll swap you the links to the social sites for it.
Photoroyalty
This is definitely not an improvement, without the selection of new images customers will not be able to follow our new work, also the new and improved avatar is cool but uploading a new avatar is not even working for me, when i upload a new one it shows only on my dashboard but i would not update on my portfolio instead i have the old one stretched and pixelated and it looks really ugly and unprofessional, i reported this bug many times but no one did anything about that.
Lasteek
Shutterstock what are you doing with us? Recent changes make me worry. Please add a file filter for vector and raster. And add sorting by date.
dizamax
Sorting content by date is a very convenient and important feature. When will she appear? Who nor whether received the answer on this question?

Zhe Vasylieva
I don't understand the logical reason for these changes shutterstock has been implementing recently and it makes me so angry and so sad at the same time. 4 mpx resolution for eps files - and now this... I truly believe customers don't care about our avatars or bios - and you know what? THAT'S ALL RIGHT. I really don't mind - it's my illustrations they should be interested in, not my latest updates on facebook. There's a lot of white space now on top of the portfolio and all of the previews are fuzzy and pixelated. That landscape previews in "collections" are a mystery for me as well as almost all of my products are square - and I believe not only mine. Sorting by newest is also essential, but I won't stop on that as it was mentioned multiple times. So yeah, another batch of strange changes and another wave of disappointment. Sad.
NoTime1
Will I be able to publish my video sets? becase I can't now..
Whiteaster
Thank you for the email SS announcing this great change that nobody asked for. Please send me another one when you give us back everything you took away, namely all filters: newest content, illustrations (raster and vector), editorials and please increase the quality of the thumbnails to an acceptable level. I've cleaned my glasses twice but now I see above that others are seeing fuzzy images too. 29 minutes ago, Zhe Vasylieva said: all of the previews are fuzzy and pixelated. Patryk Kosmider
Every improvement here is like a step back.. And we have to use to it, because nobody listening. Of course they said already they will give as back sorting by newest but... What for is this made change if it's already bad? Another thing is this sort by TOP IMAGES. What are they top with? Sales??? no... popular? nooo. So just some random choice made by shutterstock. I just entered some popular city name to the search field - by the top images. On the second page are starting pictures of donuts, because it was taken in that city??? I just have a questiuon. What happened with sorting TAGS by validity to the picture? Years ago everybody has to do it, some people still do. But shutterstock is sorting that again alphabetically. In that way every single tag of 50 added to the picture has the same validity!!! And how can good pictures to be sold in in this quantity of donuts etc..... ??? Please listen to us shutterstock!

Martins Vanags
We need (and so does customers): Fresh content Popular (not that Top images that is working on some broken script, these are not top images) Sets working on like Smart Collections on Lightroom - i have over 100k images, do you expect me to drag and drop them by one in collections? You coud hire some UI expert, that actually has experience. The UI is slow, the Language selection is useless, as I am not intended to change it in like 50 years. That is for customers. You could hire inspectors that actually have studied photography. You could be the best stock in the world, but no, you do this s..t and present it like news.
Devor
current improvements are useless. go and ask buyers what do they prefer - bigger avatars or possibility to see newest content... i think the answer is obvious...

And the link to SS from my website still does not work properly and, now, without "fresh content" it is even worse.
Andrew Rybalko
Another useless update. I am not even surprised by this. Why make such focus on the author information? People come to Shutterstock to BUY content, not to make friends or get socialize. Highlight my works, not my avatar! Where the sort by "relevance" or "fresh". At first SS have replaced the "popular" with the politically correct "relevant", now they have removed this option. What for?
