Are real people check out contributors content in submition?

I do not understand how Disney illustrations and other copyrighted content can be allowed via Shutterstock???

Famous cartoon characters so easily exist in various portfolios:

Sometimes changed, but princesses, mermaids, cartoon cats and dogs, ponies and other characters can still be recognized.
It looks like illegal uploading from some resources to Shutterstock site ...

Why my respected Shutterstock site does not comply with copyrights when checking content from contributors???

Today we’re updating our Terms of Service. In the spirit of alignment, we’ve adjusted our  terms to better reflect the best interests of both our customers and UserVoice. We’ve also added clarification around some terms customers have expressed confusion about. Ultimately, we think our new and improved ToS will make everyone’s lives easier.
