Photos taken on cruise ship accepted?

If you see people's faces or any brand names or logos, editorial.  More generic aspects of the ship or a couple with their backs to your camera backlit by the setting sun, try submitting as commercial.  Of course those great views of the ocean or approaching city with no parts of the ship visible, as long as there are no recognizeable buildings like the Eiffel Tower, are just fine as commercial.

These sell fairly well. from my cuba trip last June. BTW. last cruise I'll do. 6000 of the fattest people I've ever seen. people take cruises so they can eat all they want. it was comical.

EXACTLY the reason why my in-laws loved cruises.  Never again!  Here's my top 3 cruise sellers:

Bit of stereotyping! Suppose it depends where you go. I’ve been on many cruises and most people have been very active and we go to the gym and use the jogging track. Not everyone cruises just to stuff their faces!

And to the OP, I’ve submitted a few cruise shots as editorial.

Here's one of a cruise ship that stopped in Monterey, California recently.

Monterey, California - September 22, 2017: The cruise ship Celebrity Infinity, anchored in the Monterey Bay, is viewed from the coastal sand dunes nearby. It can hold up to 2200 people.

Personally, I've only been on a couple of cruises, and yes, the food is definitely one of the highlights.  But I tend to get claustrophobic with the big crowds everywhere you go and the tiny rooms.  The canned tours can be fun, but if you venture off to tour on your own, you risk missing your ride, lol.  But that's just me, a lot of people live to cruise.  Have fun!

You went during the summer, that in itself is pretty brave. I'll take you to the Everglades in the summer if you like. Best time for landscapes. Just bring clean underwear and lots of unscented baby powder. :)

And Leigh, if you go anywhere to the Caribbean or the Bahamas in the summer, that baby powder thing counts for you too....  (and 100% deed mosquito repellent)

Think my favourite was an expedition cruise to Antarctica with only 100 passengers.  Just wish I’d had a decent camera then as I doubt that is one I’ll do again! Small ships definitely the way to go and the largest I’ve been on only had c.800.  Think I’d rather stay at home than go on one of those huge ones. Counting down the days to my next one - Cape Town, up west coast of Africa finishing in Ghana. Again on small expedition ship.
