Stock Master script - automatically prepares vector files for microstocks

Recommended Posts

Hi there! I have good news for all microstockers! If you make a vector you should try this script. Stock Master can automatically prepare vector files for microstocks. It scans a vector file and fixes mistakes such as open paths, ghost shapes, bitmap, symbols, brushes, effects, etc.

You can free download this script here mai-tools.com

Hi there!
New version of Stock Master Pro script is available! http://mai-tools.com/stock-master-pro

What’s new:

– Fixed current bugs.

– Include CMYK PostScript in RGB Files option for EPS saving.

Do you know about last changes on Shutterstock?

If you save your EPS in RGB mode with CMYK PostScript, your JPG preview will be rendered in CMYK mode on the site. This may result in some slight color-shifting. Therefore, we recommend you do not include the CMYK PostScript in your EPS files. Uncheck this option if you don't want to include CMYK PostScript in your EPS files.

Hello!

New version of Stock Master Pro script is available:
Saving algorithm optimized for new Shutterstock rules.
"...Option “Use Artboards” is not available now. Starting on 04/20/2020, you will no longer be able to use this option when uploading vectors..."

Use “Hello Shutterstock” options in the script to save EPS files for Shutterstock according the new rules. Stock Master Pro script will turn off Use Artboards and will add backgrounds, if needs be.

We optimized files naming also. There is not "_01" postfix while saving from one Artboard only.

Hello Dacascas,

i'm sorry but i don't understand how your script work.

In agreement with the new rules for vector, if i have a file with multiples artboards, can your script solve this problem and export many artboards from one file?

If is possible, i'm very interesting to your script!

Thanks in advance

Yes, Stock Master Pro script can save from multiples artboards to separate EPS files and turn off Use Artboards option.
Use “Hello Shutterstock” options in the script to save EPS files for Shutterstock according the new rules. More info in the User Guide PDF https://docs.google.com/document/d/1gsjX9BP-fSEu1YOCT2szAAYYFQBuealELRM2vvs420Y/edit?usp=sharing

I didn't know it was even possible to do multiple artboards... how can one do it accidentally?   Why would anyone want to?

It is very convenient. Create several artboards, draw a lot of illustrations, and fast save a batch EPS+JPG with this multiartboard file.

Sorry, I don't see how that's any easier or more practical than opening the artboards separately, or doing serveral illustrations on one artboard. I don't think any of my graphics programs will allow the creation of multiple artboards, anyway.

Must be some weird Illustrator thing.

You can contact Adobe support if something is not clear for you. Also you can use this guide https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/user-guide.html
