My personal opinion is that buyers don't really care what the file extension is or the codec. As long as the footage is high quality and it suits what they are looking for. I submit all of my footage as h.264 with .mov . I know there are many who would disagree with me on this but for me, using photojpeg or other codecs create way to large of file sizes for uploading. I mainly use a 5d mark iii which creates H.264 in .mov anyway and it is a very easy process for an editor transcode a clip into any other codec they may desire. Those are my thoughts on the matter.
