Element 3D FINALLY!

Recommended Posts

For anyone who does graphics/video, etc., Videocopilot is FINALLY releasing the Element 3D plugin for AE and a lot of 3D models on Tuesday, July 10th. The 3D models will work with any 3D program even if you aren't interested in Element. If you're not familiar with Element 3D, be sure to watch the demo. It looks fantastic! Now, who wants to buy it for me?

BTW, I hope this doesn't look like an advertisement. I just stuck it here in case anyone's interested.

You can't use their models or textures for stock imaging or video.

"Our products can be used in professional projects in a royalty free capacity. The only thing we do not allow is using our products as part stock footage related material for sale or otherwise."

license agreement here:

You're correct BUT you can create your own.

Yes I'm not sure, does that mean they can be used directly as stock? Or they if created in a scene? I would have thought if I make a 3d text or, a sequence of falling fruit (for example) I would be free to do with it what I want?

Has anyone already used it in production. I would love to know how much noise there is during rendering. If I understand correctly that's a GPU based renderer and those I have used usually have a tremendous amount of noise.
