This contributor has several of my videos in his portfolio. For example this ...    https://www.shutterstock.com/ru/video/clip-1063378141-stack-gold-bars-bullion-precious-metal-investment        My original videos were HD and this thief converted them to 4k.    This is my original video    https://www.shutterstock.com/ru/video/clip-5057402-gold-barsingot-loop-finance-3d-animation   Please look, maybe your videos are there too ...  And the second question! Why is my video footage visible in search results? My Video Portfolio has been disabled since November 2020... And obviously I will ask the 3rd question .... Where is the money for my footage that has not been disabled?) I have not received any money for video sales since October 2020

I have no answer to these questions sadly. But how did he in the first place had an access to your footage? Did he buy it from you first and then uploaded again? I don't see those videos in your portfolio here. but I can still see them with search linked to your name, which is weird. It's possible that the database is corrupted somehow in this website?

Videos are tough cause there is no raw format that is generally used...

Well if its as you say, you should have the original cgi files. That should be your proof. As it stands his files look cleaner than the originals.

Some of the thief's footages are 1 second shorter than the originals. Apparently he did it so that it was more difficult to find the similarity of the stolen content with the original videos. And I sure can find 3ds max project if anybody ask my about))

I don’t think he have to shorten them because of that. SS will never find them anyway.

I think Shutterstock can find, but does not want to do it ... The money is coming and this is their top priority. On the Shaterstock forum there is a topic about a illegal portfolio and zero reaction!

They don't read the forum here all the time, YOU must report it to them directly via email.

Congrats - but it’s a disgrace of the port is not closed completely down .. 😡

Istockphoto  is great. There was the same thieves' portfolio. They completely deactivated it...!  See shutterstock how you really need to defend the rights of those who actually bring you income!  The completely illegal portfolio is still on the Shutterstock. Shame!  https://www.shutterstock.com/ru/g/Dannique+Treep/video

  • 4 weeks later...

Shutterstock have a big problem with this and seemingly they don't care.

Footage is stolen, reuploaded but they don't care - a sale is a sale.

Im firmly convinced they ARE aware of issues but wont act until they end up in court over it.
