There is no point in exclusivity unless it’s a contractual obligation

Or it's that new Owner and Artist site, that's going to be 40%, by invitation, so members images will be exclusive to make the site extra special for buyers. Since it's artist co-op people will also direct others to the site to help each other, gain more sales at the favorable rates. Of course this is all imaginary and a dream experience, but if there was such a place.... Images Would Be Exclusive. (Image Exclusive, not artist exclusive)

😎

At this point, other than a few specialty sites, you are correct. There's no reason or advantage to be exclusive in Microstock as a general area. Image exclusive is also available at some and can be beneficial for someone who is selective about what goes to whom.

There is also seem to be no point in non-exclusivity either as only 2 or 3 websites are giving enough downloads.

Sure, SS, Adobe Stock, iStock and Alamy should amount to up to 90% of total sales revenue. Being exclusive in a non exclusive agency is shooting yourself in the foot imo

It’s super easy to upload to them all simultaneously using stocksubmitter or using Wirestock.

Well if its 2 or 3 website then thats not exclusive is it...

Exclusive means you're on ONE.  Which ultimately is a terrible idea as you're completely at the mercy of a site that can change terms and conditions or even stop your account with no notice at all.

Unless you have a legal, contractual obligation and income from it, exclusive on micro is a terrible idea.
