Location of my photos

I'm new to this and haven't yet contributed any photos; I'm definitely not a professional photographer, so my question may seem amateurish and I apologize for that:   My question is about Location Metadata.  If I sell photos, will the buyer be able to see where the photo was taken by the photo's metadata?  I don't want them to be able to see where I took the photo, so please if someone can help me and let me know.

I can't imagine why you don't want people to know locations... (did you photograph where you hid the bodies?) 😟

Also I don't know if Shutterstock strips Metadata before providing to the customer, however you can always just remove some or all of the metadata yourself before uploading. 👍

Like, someone might not want people to look up where their house is from the metadata, for safety and privacy purposes. That said, I'm pretty sure SS strips the metadata, so it wouldn't happen anyway.

@Novom Photography You can use lightroom and specify not an option when exporting without saving metadata. And then upload the photos without metadata to  SS
