  3. Hello everyone, I'm just getting started in stock footage and am looking for advice from the veterans on how to gain exposure. So far, I only have 45 videos up for sale and I realize I need to have hundreds, if not thousands, to see real results. Still, I'm hoping there are ways I can help boost my exposure as I continue to build up my footage. My background is in web design & development so my first instinct is to try promoting on social media and my website. Aside from that, are there other promotion techniques you would recommend? Thanks for your time!
  4. So I am pretty new to Shutterstock and Photography in general. I made a account about half a year ago, and have added some pictures over the last few months. Now it has been a month, and I am getting not a single view, follow, or sale. I know my stock might not be the best ones, but there are a few really great images that I feel should be selling quite well. I normally add roughly 10-30 keywords per image, and try to add different keywords and titles for all my images. (Should I use less keywords? What is an ideal number? I have promoted my images and profile across many platforms from my own website to nearly all social medias. (Still not a single profile view.... Event though I know some have viewed my profile...) Am I doing something wrong here? Is my account "blacklisted" or "not public" or something similar? Please help me, I am really trying to make this happen, and plan to add much much more and better quality images, but right now I feel discouraged, as absolutely nothing is happening... PLEASE ANY ONE IF YOU HAVE ANY ADVICE PLEASE TELL ME! SEE MY PROFILE HERE..... MY PROFILE (http://shutterstock.com/g/mitchellraman) Thank you!
  5. I am having trouble adding the 'gallery widget' to my website. It only shows an empty view and the developer tools tell me that 'embed.js' could not be loaded from the shutterstock servers. Apparently the same or a similiar issue was already brought up in this post in the forum (http://forums.submit.shutterstock.com/topic/87591-an-invalid-ssl-on-promoteshutterstockcom/?hl=embed.js), but it does not seem to be fixed. Attached you can find a screenshot of the embedded widget and the html file. I hope you can help me to get the widget to work. Best, FroeMic test.html
  6. Hello, I tried to install the Gallery html code on my website from promote.shutterstock.com, and I noticed that it's not working, because of the invalid SSL Certificate on the following webpage https://promote.shutterstock.com/content/embed.js Please fix the problem. I would suggest buying a valid SSL certificate from cyberssl.com. Thank you in advance, Ksenia
  7. Do you have any experience? If you do it, how? Thanks:)
  8. Hi contributors...there is a group on Facebook (name: STOCK VIDEO PROMOTION) has been created to promote stock videography. It is a "hub" between sellers and buyers. You can share and make known your creations. Feel free also to leave your comments, invite other videographers and share your knowledge. As well as advertising and web agencies, movie studios, publishers, can take a look at the creative works that are published and, why not, directly interact with the videographer. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1634887400112299 Good luck
