  1. Hi all I was collecting new data for Stock Photo Ideas after the feedback on top-100 customer queries by traffic. I took top-500 customer queries by traffic instead of top-100 this time and analyzed portfolios that were on the first pages of Shutterstock search for these queries. These are only queries for photo and video. The results are published on Petapixel: https://petapixel.com/2021/07/23/how-to-rank-on-the-first-page-of-top-queries-on-stock-photo-sites/ Believe it or not, I found out that about 30% of portfolios that rank at least once on the first page have 1000 or less photos
  2. I am sure almost everybody has some pix of that kind. Not so many sales usually but we love them! So let's share our not-so-commercial live treasures! 1-3 images, for example... And share how many sales the images had (optional!). Thanks in advance! I'll start. --- 1. This is a dusky leaf monkey. The number of sales - 0. https://www.shutterstock.com/image-photo/dusky-leaf-monkey-trachypithecus-obscurus-known-618670070 2. Macaque kids playing. The number of sales - 5! https://www.shutterstock.com/image-photo/two-baby-macaques-playing-fighting-

For example this ... https://www.shutterstock.com/ru/video/clip-1063378141-stack-gold-bars-bullion-precious-metal-investment My original videos were HD and this thief converted them to 4k. This is my original video https://www.shutterstock.com/ru/video/clip-5057402-gold-barsingot-loop-finance-3d-animation Please look, maybe your videos are there too ... And the second question! Why is my video footage visible in search results? My Video Portfolio has been disabled since November 2020... And obviously I will ask the
  4. Hi community, I was wondering whether anybody else deactivated their video sales (Contributor portal > [your name in the top right] > Account Settings > License Options (bottom right panel) > Video sales: NO), like I just did. As I am seeing that most of my videos go monthly for 0.26-0.34$, to the point that people buy five of my videos in a row on the same day for the grand total of 1.70$ in royalties for me, I am concluding that it does no longer make any sense to sell videos on Shutterstock. I will keep my photos for the time being, without uploading the newer ones (I
  5. Hello, I've 3 images that don't appear in my portfolio till now, one of them approved from 31 March. I understand that it may take up to 3 days, but I've submitted many photos after that 31 March that got approved and appeared normally in my portfolio! Why are some approved images appear almost instantly but others don't? Thanks for your help.
