  1. Hello Everyone! I'm new here! My name is Brenda and I'm from London. My goal here is to meet some good people and learn good things about photography and how comparison lenses. I'm a professional photographer and like to travel to many countries. If you make a good trip surely your photos will be excellent.
  2. Are you finding that it is harder to edit drone images than the photos from the DSLR? After few years of self improvement, I have published a Udemy course about editing Aerial Drone Images in Lightroom Classic. You can check it out if you are interested: Drone Photo Editing in Lightroom It would be great to hear some feedback from the fellow contributors.
  3. My humble question is, I've some really professionally worthfull content on my part and want to sell it on stock sites but it is making me uneasy to think about how much I could get through such photo and videos sell though I heard this site (Shutterstock) pays lot than others stock sites, but is it really great decision to sell it for pennies? My Photo Examples I really want you go check my suggested images and give your unbiased review. Below is the link for some of my example images...

  5. Hello folks! I've referred approximately 65 new contributors to Shutterstock over a six month period through my little blog jamoimages.com. What I've noticed is that most of them only signs up, but never really go any further or only uploads few images. In fact, from over 65 people only one have kept uploading photos regularly. This is of course very bad for me because I lose all those $0.04/DL's which would make me rich in no time if everybody would keep uploading new photos 🤔😉 Now, I know (from experience) that it IS frustrating to upload images/videos without certainty of income, however, uploading new photos regularly, even without them selling right away, will eventually pay off. Sometimes it may take months before any sales. So I've made a blog post couple of months back to help new contributors make sense of this mess and hopefully succeeding in their journey (and earn me more $0.04's 😉). You can find it here: https://jamoimages.com/stock-photography-tips/ Best of Luck for you all and may the stock force be with you in 2020! Oh.. and if you're wondering, below is how much I've earned with those referrals so far. HOORAY! Now I can get a cup of coffee from the cheapest cafe in my town 🤣
  6. new contributor article link Oh God, this is laughable. How could you get neat picture quality from such a nano-tiny-sensor? Personally i rarely shot on mobile and if it is happening i use mighty Nokia 808 with 1/1.2" sensor (2012).N808 can produce acceptable quality in good light conditions and only after very heavy postprocessing on 'puter. Choosing from new phones i can mention Huawei P30 Pro (1/1.7"). It has more modern versatility but lose a tad bit in terms of resolution (funny thing also). Dynamic range of Huawei much better than N808. Due to modern BSI sensor vs Toshiba FSI used in N808. As for upcoming phones: Mate 30 (1/1.54" smaller than N808) and Xiaomi Mix Alpha (1/1.33" again smaller than N808) could be interesting. But considering high megapixel count > 100. S/N ratio will be not so good. The only thing that could save the situation is to shrink 100mpix -> to say 10mpix. Anyway it will be interesting to see review from a real person n808 vs mate 30 or MIx Alpha. DXomark reviews are bribed, it is known fact and that is why site couldn't considered as smth serious. And yeah, i forgot to mention Panasonic CM1 star-magic phone (1" sensor). It has 20 Mpix and very often image quality is neck-and-neck with N808 (41.5 mpix with special hack, but a bit smaller sensor). Hope this will clear things up and somebody find useful info! Have a neat weekends!

  13. In the interest of a scientific experiment, here is a serious photography discussion thread. A question: I currently have a Canon EF 80-200 4.5-5.6 II. It's my go-to lens. It's the one that is always on the body. I have a 100-300 and a 28-70 and a 50mm, which all have their purposes, but this is my walk-around lens. I have been seriously eyeing the canon 80-200 L series that runs around $500 gently used. It's the late 80s model, the magic drain pipe. I can't really spend the $1200 on the IS version. $500 I might be able to scrape up. Is it worth the upgrade? In case you need to know, I'm rocking the Canon T5. My sales are increasing as I increase the size of my amateur port and my PS/LR skills improve.
  14. I have a Canon T3 with a 18-55mm and a 50mm f/1.4. Also, we are going to move a lot from country to country. The countries with most days spent there will be Spain, Italy, Germany and France.

Weather in Iceland - lots of winds, clouds and rain, and therefore many missed opportunities and locations planned for photography. So far, my longest video presentation, lasts 4 min : 47 sec. Photography and editing by me in Photoshop and After Effects. Equipment: Canon 5D mark II, Canon L lenses (16-35mm and 70-200mm) For best viewing experience turn on 1080p. Feel free to ask questions, give suggestions and criticism. It would be interesting to know which photo is the best in your opinion, I know which was the most difficult for executed.
