  1. Hello Everyone, As we continue upgrading and stabilizing the technology that powers Shutterstock, we will soon be making changes to the Approval Status pages. As a result, we are at this time removing the ability to edit content that is Pending Review. This change will enable us to stabilize and secure the content review pipeline and ensure a more efficient file transfer process. You can still edit your content after the image has been approved by visiting the Approved Status pages. We thank you for your understanding and continued contributions to our marketplace! Alex

  3. Hello! For about 3 years, I uploaded video on the Shutterstock with the following parameters: File Format - QuickTime .mov Frame Rates - 30 Resolution - 1920х1080 Channels - RGB+Alpha channel Codec - PNG Until October 2018 there were no problems with these videos. For almost 2 months now, when trying to upload such videos to Shutterstock, they do not appear in pending, but an error message appears: "We do not currently support the codec of your video. Please re-export to one of our accepted codecs. Learn more about our technical requirements." I did not change anything in the render settings of my videos. And on all other microstock this files are uploaded without any problems. I tried to upload those videos that are ALREADY in my portfolio, but nothing changes. Video does not appear in pending, and I see the same error. I have contacted Shutterstock technical support 3 times already. I am constantly asked to read the technical requirements that I know and do everything in accordance with them. When I send details with screenshots about how I make videos, they tell me "I would like to inform you that your case has been escalated to the concerned department on priority basis and I will get back to you as soon as I get the update and assist you further." And this is all - further silence and ignore. I sent an example of such a video to tech support so that they could tell what technical requirement was not met. But there is no answer and probably will not be. Why am I sure that the problem is on the side of Shutterstock: 1 - I uploaded these videos for about 3 years - no problem. I haven't changed anything in settings since then. 2 - Even previously approved similar videos are not uploaded - the same error. 3 - There are no problems with all the other leading microstocks (Pond5, Adobe, Videohive, 123rf). I just want to ask if anyone has encountered this problem? If so, maybe you solved it somehow? Thanks
  4. I always upload via FTP, and I usually never have issues. Today however I upload them no problems, but they don't appear on the website. If I login again via FTP, I see the files there in the main directory (they usually disappear after a few seconds). Is the server having issues?
  5. Hello. I have a sad story. January 26 received an image confirmation (Photo Id 1009170451) and it is still in the folder "Batches Pending Approval". I immediately wrote about the problem in technical support, but so far the situation remains the same. When I try to download this image again and present it as the number of the previous case, then the picture does not confirm to me. Has removed a problem image, has loaded anew. I wait for check and I tremble.
  6. Hello, everyone! I have a question about editorial content - why it takes so much time to approve editorial content? Sometimes I have to wait even 5 days. I guess it's too long for editorial content. such as news/sports etc.
  7. Hello, My vector has long been not in the review, why in the pending approval menu on the dashboard looks 0 when in the batches menu (status of batches upload) there are 32 pending files? i hope you can help me thanks

  9. Hey guys, it's been almost two weeks since I uploaded few photos, but the approval is yet to come. It says that photos are "in pending" so I was wondering whats taking so long? Also, when I try to delete photos it says that my account is in such state that doesn't allow me to do so.
  10. I submitted one illustration on July 15 and it's still pending approval. Previous drawings that are similar were approved within a day or so. So why is it still pending?

  12. Hello fellow phorographers I currently have over 100 images pending approval. However, in my Contributor dashboard, for more than 24 hors now, the number of photos pending approval is zero. Attached image for reference. Regardless, when going to Portfolio -> Approval status: Images, I see all my batches that are pending, with the correct number of images. This never happened in my profile before. I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing this issue? Thank you and happy shooting! Rui
  13. I sent the batch of 10 images on July 14 and all was rejected (the problem with keywords). I corrected and sent for reconsideration on July 15 - and until today, the whole batch of 10 images under consideration (divided in 5 images/1/2/1/1). Maybe something is wrong with my account or it is a normal period for the examination batch? What should I do? Can I delete my account and try again if something wrong? Or it is not allowed register two times for same person even after deleting previous account (with same ID document)? Thank you for attention

Today is the 21th but my works are still under review, although it should take only 2 business days, as per information on your site. Could you please expedite the process or let me know why the status is still pending. Thank you.
  15. Hello, I am writing here as I haven't had any reply from shutterstock via the contact links. I have 2 jpegs artwork that have been sitting in pending for about 3 weeks, uploaded on the 25th of May. The vector versions have been approved straight away and I've uploaded both jpegs and vector files since then and approved but these two files are still stuck. I've contacted shutterstock twice and haven't received a reply and still waiting.. I've re-uploaded the same two files and they were rejected because it said they were approved, which they are not. The files are not in my image gallery either. Is there anyone from shutterstock who can contact me and fix the stuck images in my pending box. The batch is Batch ID: 101120773 (05/25/2016) .   16. I have sent my ID, but I haven't sent any of the images for review. I still get the message that I have sent my content for review, even though I haven't done that yet, and that I should expect to hear from SS if I am going to be accepted or declined, and that I will hear the decision in 2 business days. How to fix this? Thanks in advance. P.S. I am sending print screen shot of the message.
  17. Hi, My ID is accepted, Content approval is still pending. I cannot use my account to upload work. I subscribed as a contributor shortly after Christmas 2015 and still no answer. Waiting for an answer, thanks.
  18. My footage are in pending for almost 20 days since after Christmas. I try to find a way to contact support but no response. What they reply me is that the review process might delay to 10-14 days but that's not my situation now. Please help me here. I work hard for recent clips. This is very demotivating.

  21. Today I want to edit my pending images. But when I click on the edit link, it shows that my images doesn't exist with message ---- "We can't find the content you wanted to edit, please check the ID (344986631) and try again." Please help
  22. Hello Im new in here. I uploaded my first batch of pictures and my drives license - the I got two mails back: 1. I didn't have 7 approved pictures 2. I needed better ID. I the followed the link in the first mail and uploaded new pictures - I could not resubmit my ID here. Now I have got a mail back saying my content is approved but my ID is pending - but I cannot see where I can upload my ID, as I cannot get past the "thank you for your submission" page? What to do? Thanks
