  1. So I uploaded some photos and they have been reviewed and approved. Yet I still cannot see them in my portfolio and they are "stuck" in reviewed section without being uploaded to my profile so I could sell them. Did anyone else stumble upon this problem? What should I do?
  2. "The size of your artwork (not the size of the artboard) must be at least 4 megapixels." This is the message I keep getting. I haven't uploaded any vectors since SS made it "easier" and now this message keeps appearing. What's the catch? Thanks in advance for your help.
  3. 'Latest downloads' link is broken today? 'We can’t connect to the server at www.integration.dev.shutterstock.com.'
  4. Something weird (maybe) in my account. My balance went down, like I had reached payout. But I didn't actually reach payout level until Aug 1, not July 31. So I figured I would have to wait until the end of August. I haven't got the email notice about payout yet either (but sometimes those are slow.) Has anyone else had this happen? Will they do the payout on the first of the month? Or should I be concerned? And who would I try to contact about this?
  5. I cannot upload certain EPS documents. For example, "hoodie mockup Black 1" has a required minimum of 4 megapixels (artboard = 2000px x 2000px), which amounts to a file of over 100 megabytes (118 megabytes, to be exact). I then reduced the size of the file "hoodie mockup Black 1B-01" (even though I knew it would be useless, I did it to make a point) to 3,6 megapixels (artboard = 1300px x 1300px). That ended up a file with less than 100 megabytes total (91,9 megabytes), which allowed me to surpass the first step. But, in the final step, the upload is denied, being less than the required 4 megapixels (please see photos attached). Another situation is that I want to upload a file with specific frame measures (A4, A5, A6, 5x6 in…) in the EPS file, which of course results in a small design within an artboard of 2000px x 2000px (please see photos attached). So, I would like to know how can I send such files? Furthermore, I would like to leave the suggestion that, although this new feature is good, reducing the time for uploading, as you can well verify, it is not totally efficient. I would like to suggest keeping this functionality, but with the possibility of, if a EPS and JPEG with the same name are uploaded simultaneously, the review program would give preference to the JPEG file for “preview”, generating an “alert” for the reviewer, to ensure correct matching previews. What I mean is, hold the current procedure, but insert the possibility of using the “old method” for uploading certain EPS files. Best, Pedro Alexandre Teixeira
  6. Hello everyone, introduce me to jody, a new contributor to Shutterstock, and here I'm still a newbie. here I have a problem when I want to upload my first vector/artwork, which is where this problem always appears when I try to replace the vector work I made (EPS File). the problem is "The size of your artwork (not the size of the artboard) must be at least 4 megapixels" and I am confused to solve this problem because the eps file I made is small, which is 2MB. And I am confused about how to resize my artwork, even though my artwork does not contain heavy effects. please respond me :) Greetings~ Jody Pratama
  7. Dear Contributor, I m a new contributor at SS as a illustration's. I was starting to upload my vectors on SS but I got a this message " Your vector contains either pixel based bitmap objects or raster effects (“fx”). Remove these effects or objects and upload your file again. " How can I solve that issues. I am just using iPad for my drawings. (Adobe Draw at iPad). Thanks for your kindly answers. Regards.
  8. Hi to everybody. One week ago I uploaded some images from a Europa League soccer match and I sent my accreditation to credentials@shutterstock.com but nobody has answered yet. Since then I have sent many messages but nobody is responding. I can't submit my images. Is anyone here knowing what's happening, or anyone from the Shutterstock team that could give me an answer. Usually they sent a case number after 24 to 48 hours. Thank you Giannis
  9. Ever since the update, every time I go to submit a photo, it saves and then fails to submit because "Media not found or wrong state." What does this mean?
  10. For the third time I had the same problem! (We were unable to verify your ID. Please review your address and/ or upload a different ID in order to sell your content) Please help
  11. Hallo! I'm trying to upload my very first video and it seems that no metadata survives after the FTP upload. Am I doing something the wrong way? Adobe Bridge was used to keyword, add title, captions and so on to the MOV file. When the file appeared in the "not yet submitted" queue I went to submit it and all of my metadata disappeared so I had to copy/paste them from the files to the indexing section. I also noticed that in the "Approval Status: videos" > approved footage clips, I can find the approved clip, but if I click for details I see "Released: N" but I know that clip was model-released. Is there something I have to know? :-)
  12. Hello, My vector has long been not in the review, why in the pending approval menu on the dashboard looks 0 when in the batches menu (status of batches upload) there are 32 pending files? i hope you can help me thanks
  13. Hello there! OK so I tried to upload a vector file to Shutterstock, and it came back as rejected - 'not an Illustrator 8 or 11 version'. Fair enough, I did not realise this. So on my second attempt, I resaved the EPS as legacy version 8. I checked the file, and it was indeed version 8. I uploaded the file, and STILL received a rejection on the basis it was the wrong file type. I then contacted the contributor support team, and Jenny provided a generic message with a link to 'submitting vectors for the first time' - which I have read a couple of times now, and provided no useful advice for my issue. I replied explaining this, and today received an email from Alexa, who suggested that I open the EPS in a text editor, and check through the lines of text to see if it states that it is an Illustrator 8 version. I spotted this line - %%Creator: Adobe Illustrator(R) 8.0 Which looks good to me - I did use the latest version of Ai (CC 2018) to create the graphic, but saved as a legacy EPS file. Surely that is OK? Does anyone have any ideas why my file keeps getting rejected, and what I might be able to do about it? I have attached the file in question to this post. Thanks in advance!!! tools_001.eps
  14. Upload issues.....again. As soon as traffic on SS got bigger same old story is here > so much wasted time on endless re-upload and their " tech team " are not capable to solve the problem. Lack of knowlege or they just don't give a S**T 'bout our time ? " Im Westen nichts Neues " ( Nothing new on western front )
  15. I can make picture that can be pass review without any problem but that wont be picture I wanted to upload. Is there possibility to pass review with mentioning issues like overexposed or too sharp or film grain as artistic intention ?? It kills my artistic freedom. Im sending you pictures that I want to pass as they LOOK now, call them invalid, I don't care, just accept them as they are! Is that manageable ??? ... or this is only for creative people with really expensive equipment ?? Please explain me, cause it is been driving me crazy, and I'm about to quit if I don't manage to understand your machine that is examining these photos. Is it solution to resize pictures to minimun? ....Cause when I see them in this previewer, i dont like them either, like li like them on my screen.
  16. " I have a dream " - Martin Luther King . As SS contributor I have a dream too. A dream that just one ...ONE DAY everything work as it should on this site. No upload problems....no bugs... no issues....no hickups.....no need to work same thing several times just becouse "tech team" is not capable to fix this site. I have a dream that SS works fine just like all other agencies sites.....just like theirs...no more ....no less...... " I HAVE A DREAM "
  17. It makes me wonder...... By seeing that some contributors uploaded 3000 - 3500 previous week and know how I struggle on daily basis to upload few images it simply crossed my mind....does this site works differently for some contributors ? With all upload hickups and bugs we manage to upload few images....someone does it by bulk.... 3500 by week = 500 daily = 20 images per hour = 1 each minute..... Does it sounds irrational ( with all those NOT WORKING issues of this site ) to you guys or is it just me ? http://www.microstoc...img.phtml?p=all Of those contributors with 10 000 + per week I'm scared to even think about.... 18. Hey. It turns out the review inconsistency at shutterstock is legendary. Had some images refused for model release issues while some others were accepted. Then I uploaded a new model release, only to find out that the same thing happens. While some editors are accepting the model release, others will refuse it. I wrote support about this issue and asked what am I doing wrong - cause I was thinking that I am the problem. Well, their answer was quite stunning: my MRs WERE OK, maybe I should add more data to some fields - although these fields are not even present on SS mr form. Of course after I lost a lot of time with this MR thing turns out that while some images were refused only for MR issue, at resubmit they can be refused for a totally different reason. So therefore I am just curious about some things: are the reviewers at shutterstock following a training course? Do they know each other? or speak to each other ? or here everyone is on their own, everyone following their own criteria?
  19. I've been trying for 3 days to upload some footage. I get these error messages and the connection resets. Error: Could not write to transfer socket: ECONNRESET - Connection reset by peer Error: Connection timed out after 20 seconds of inactivity Error: File transfer failed after transferring 40,108,032 bytes in 102 seconds I've ticked the box to send the "keep alive" commands as I have read that this can help. Could someone help me understand what the issue is and how I can look to resolve please? Kind Regards Phil
  20. Hello: When I try to access the FTP, I get the following error: Respuesta: - files must be under 4GB. Larger files will be rejected with a "426 Respuesta: Operation Not Permitted" error. 21. Hello Since months I try to get my ID checked, to finally start uploading. My pictures were approved and everything´s fine, but the one mail I got by the support told me, that there might be issues, cause my ID was only one sided, Since then I always get the message, that my account status doesn´t allow any changes of my address (I moved some time ago) and I can´t load up anything. I can´t get in touch with the support anymore, cause the button on the page doesn´t function and all other support mails I wrote went straight into nirvana... I gave up a few months ago, but now I want to give it a try for the last time. If somehow I could load up my ID correctly, but there is no way. Does someone know anything, to help a newbie with this onesided conversation. Feels like talking to myself all the time I try to reach somebody... Help :-) Thank you all for reading, and sorry, that I write it in forum, but I´m otherwise helpless...thx for your patience. Christiane
