  1. Hi, How do I upload my CSV batch file? I'm new here, uploaded 250 photos and searching where to submit my CSV batch file. It takes a long time to make the CSV file, so I don't want to copy paste to each one as possible. Can anybody give instruction and if possible with screenshots? Thanks!
  2. Excuse me, what does the CSV file mean? Is it mandatory to insert it?
  3. I uploaded 59 videos successfully via FTP. CSV was uploaded to apply metadata to the clips, but about 80% of the clips have the wrong information applied to them. Metadata from the CSV appears on the wrong clips. I've uploaded the CSV several times with the same result. Column names are correct and I am using the same template that has worked without issues in the past. I changed the metadata manually on a few clips, but even then, it does not allow me to choose more than one category for those clips. There have been a few threads addressing CSV problems, but the last one was over a month ago. Is this still a known issue? Is doing this manually my only option?
  4. Can you export shutterstosk csv? Thanks
  5. For about a week we cannot apply a CSV to our newly uploaded clips. The system "freezes" and just sits there rather than accepting and processing. Nothing has changed at our end in terms of how the CSVs are built. Anyone else having this issue?
  6. When I try and upload a CSV the page stuck after pressing upload and nothing happens only endless thinking ball of suhtterstock keep rolling (more than 5 hours)
  7. Hellow fellow filmmakers! So, I have all this stock footage that was supposed to me rich, but I can't get over all this keywording and naming. I have been looking for an app that can export CSV and I have tried, lightroom ( lr transporter ), CatDv and even CD finder but not luck. Is google docs the best option to create CSV? I shoot with the RED camera, I use RED Cine X to trim the footage, after effects to color correct and export the footage as ProRes. I do all the naming and tagging in lightroom. Can you please share your workflow? Thanks for the help and Happy New Years!
  8. Hallo. I have a not-so-old note that seems to have been "copied and pasted" with that exact same topic I used here. The answer, also copied and pasted, states: "Before you start ... Make sure your photos have been processed! Make sure you have an active FTP account. prepare the Model/Property Release CSV Mapping file. Download the sample file here. Connect to your FTP account. Create these folders (one time only): Create "releases" folder. ------------> OPERATION NOT PERMITTED (there also is "release" folder that cannot be deleted) Create "model" folder inside the "releases" folder. Create "property" folder inside the "releases" folder. Upload all your files in the following manner: The CSV mapping file should be uploaded into the "releases" folder. Model releases should go into the "model" folder. Property releases are to be uploaded into the "property" folder. Click the "Start Batch Process" button. Sit back and relax, it might take a while!" but... I can't find that "start batch process" button and ... I can't find the CSV mapping. Of course I have doubts about this note ... does it really come from SS ? I can't remember. But... there DO is a "release" folder ... and can't understand what's for. I want to completely automate the FILE <---> MODEL_RELEASE(s) process ... but it seems that we have to do it by hand. Or is there any chance to change this?
  9. "Filename must contain valid value. 3 Occurrences" I keep getting the above message each time I try to apply my CSV file. It doesn't give any other information. CSV is formatted exactly as SS has requested. Someone suggested that it means I left something blank or have a space before letters in 3 different places. Unfortunately, that is not the case. File name structure is very simple: city_object_1.mov All 25 file names have exactly the same naming structure, with only the file number being different. There are neither spaces nor blanks in the file names. I've checked and re-checked (too) many times. I've changed the file names several times, each time having to re-upload the files to SS and try to apply CSV file. Nothing works. I even considered that the system may not like capital letters in the file name, so I changed them to all lower case. Still I get the same message: "Filename must contain valid values. 3 occurrences." Can someone offer detailed assistance? I've invested hours into trying to resolve this so that it doesn't happen again, and still haven't been able to. Thank you.
  10. Hi, anyone ever met this error? I try putting categories in csv file and I keep the eye on my spelling not to type wrong but I got this error, the system said "unreconized category" and the result is I got only first category, the second is blank I try many things like 1.delete space between category example : change this "Animal/Wildlife, Nature" to this > "Animal/Wildlife,Nature" 2.change case to use only lowercase example : change this "Animal/Wildlife, Nature" to this > "animal/wildlife, nature" all I got is just first one, but not the second why?
