  9. 1.Editorial Caption--Image requires proper caption and must be tagged as editorial 2.Overuse--Image has excessive noise reduction and/or excessive sharpening effects applied First it came back negative because of editorial content, I corrected that problem and submitted it again. I thought it would then be accepted, yet again, but not.. Because of the second reason above. I didn't touch anything on the pic before resubmitting. I don't understand again.. Thanks for your comments ! Cedric

  10. Overuse--Image has excessive noise reduction and/or excessive sharpening effects applied I admit I played with the exposure of the steel bars in front of the building, but I didn't over sharpened it. Any ideas why it hasn't been accepted ? Thanks Cedric

  11. From the album: Geneva by night

Poor lighting-image has exposure issues. unfavorable lighting condittions and/or incorrect white balance.Trademark-image / Metadata potentially. My city doesn't have white lights, and why couldn't it be artistically possible to leave the original colors or play with them ? Thanks for your comments, I need to improve my accepted files ratio :-)

  14. I just brought home a new laptop (HP Envy), The colors are all off. The Photoshop (CS6 Extended) interface is dark muddy warm gray instead of pale cool gray (I always change it from the black one). The map on my SS home page is dark brownish gray instead of cool gray. My images viewed on this monitor are all totally off. My black line art is dark brown. My bright fuschias are muddy purple. I tried everything I could think of with calibration etc and nothing changes it. Has anyone ever had this issue? I can't work until it's resolved because I'm working blind. I have to know exactly what things really look like before I can send them out. All the colors have a warm cast to them. In Pantone terms, the pale gray Photoshop background, which should be like PMS Cool Gray 4 maybe, is now more like PMS Warm Gray 5. The bright red PMS 185 looks like a dull burnt orange. That's for illustrations. In photos, a pretty blue sky looks muddy gray. Does anyone know what to do? thank you
  15. What do you think about this image? Could I've done more with the composition?
