  1. Hi, since 30th April anytime when I submit Editorial images, bigstock rejects it with this message: "Reason: Editorial Designation -- This content can only be accepted for editorial use. Please select the "Editorial Usage" box on the "Info" tab before submitting." Of course, the images were submitted as Editorial and selected the "Editorial Usage". When I asked the support team, the answer is always the same: "1. submit smaller batches.2. don't use the multi-select to edit many images, try selecting editorial 1 image at at time, this may be a workaround. It is observed that metadata gets duplicated when multiselect is chosen.3. select the editorial category in addition to the checkbox.4. avoid apostrophes, brackets and so forth in the metadata." Okay, they don't read the emails just copy+paste the same text to everybody but I only submitted one image. I thought one image in a batch is quite small. Looks like not. I experience this issue since 30th April and after 3 weeks still nothing changed. Maybe bigstock does not accept editorial images anymore just forgot to inform the contributors. I checked the bigstock's blog, facebook and twitter but did not see any messages about this issue. Actually, they did not post anything since January. Do you know, what is going on there? Why bigstock does not accept editorial images? Why bigstock is not willing to fix the issue?
  2. Have attempted to contact BigStock to find out why payments have not been made for 2 weeks. No response to emails. Is there a staff there, or a phone number to talk to a real person, not offshore support who reads from a script about how "we cannot help you?"
  3. Beside the changes in shutterstock submission (already discussed), another partner in shutterstock group also downgraded the submission process. In bigstock, when you select several images and set categories, currently the description & keywords are overwritten to the values of one of the images. This means that you must set category for each image individually. This is a major slowdown if you upload a large number of images. This was not the case in the past, It changed about 2 month ago. There was no warning or notification. Bigstock support ignore my messages about this (for almost 2 months). Bigstock does not have its own contributor forum, so I post it in its parent site forum.
  4. Anybody had any success uploading to BS these last days? It was fixed for a short while a week ago when we mentioned the problem here. It is the third day I am trying to upload, it looks like it has no access to the server. It is just spinning and after a while , goes back to "upload something", the old, known problem. Please SS tell us if you don't want BS any more, so we don't waste our time trying to upload.
  5. Anybody else experiencing this problem? As best I can tell, no images approved after December 15, 2016 have made the transition to my Bigstock portfolio. There have, in the past, been slight delays in them crossing over -but never this long. If this is a known issue and it eventually gets resolved what about the missed images? Will they then be ported over or should I be uploading them direct to Bigstock? Obviously, I do not want to create duplicates. On another issue, the ability to Tweet links to my photo sets is also not working. What gets Tweeted is simply "just shared a set@shutterstock" with no link to the actual set. Again, are others having the same problem? Thanks in advance for any responses.
  6. BS is dead for days, can't upload ( 504 Gateway Timeout error ), no sales, nothing is moving there. Please fix it.
  7. I know that bigstock was bought by Shutterstock. However, I am not quite sure how it works if I want to sell photos there. Is my SS port automatically part of Bigstock or do I have to create an account there and re-upload everything there? Thanks
