  1. I have bumped into a major problem when trying to fill out a Property Release form digitally in Adobe (including pasting in the image). It now wants me to buy a subscription of Adobe Reader DC for a monthly fee of Eur 18... 🤨 Is there any other way to fill out these forms digitally ? Or should I go back to printing it and filling it in by hand ? This is obviously not cost effective either.. At Astock, I can’t even upload a manual form as it directs me straight to the Adobe software. So basically I am stuck, and unable to upload anything that needs a release. Any tips are welcome 😉
  2. hello everyone, I'm a graphic designer and i have some questions about selling vector stock i hope that experiencing contributors in this platforms help me get some insight. my questions are: obviously the first one will be if this worth my time? what are the best platform to sell stock vector? how many sale you have monthly? what items that sell well (posters,logos,patterns...)? how much you earn from each platform (you can avoid this if you don't feel comfortable to answer) ? individual or set? I would appreciate any help ,this will help me and help other designers that are new in vector stock contributing. thank you
  3. Using freeform gradient tool in Adobe AI 2020 and saving eps in version 10, getting error rejection "Your vector contains either pixel based bitmap objects or raster effects (“fx”). Remove these effects or objects and upload your file again." The attached file I had been using as a pattern background. Does anyone have any solutions to this problem. Thank you. Kelly first-07.eps

  10. Hello there! OK so I tried to upload a vector file to Shutterstock, and it came back as rejected - 'not an Illustrator 8 or 11 version'. Fair enough, I did not realise this. So on my second attempt, I resaved the EPS as legacy version 8. I checked the file, and it was indeed version 8. I uploaded the file, and STILL received a rejection on the basis it was the wrong file type. I then contacted the contributor support team, and Jenny provided a generic message with a link to 'submitting vectors for the first time' - which I have read a couple of times now, and provided no useful advice for my issue. I replied explaining this, and today received an email from Alexa, who suggested that I open the EPS in a text editor, and check through the lines of text to see if it states that it is an Illustrator 8 version. I spotted this line - %%Creator: Adobe Illustrator(R) 8.0 Which looks good to me - I did use the latest version of Ai (CC 2018) to create the graphic, but saved as a legacy EPS file. Surely that is OK? Does anyone have any ideas why my file keeps getting rejected, and what I might be able to do about it? I have attached the file in question to this post. Thanks in advance!!! tools_001.eps

  15. Hi all. I am a photographer currently using Photoshop CS3 and Lightroom 5. As my version of Photoshop is very old, I was wondering if there is any benefit to purchasing Elements which is more recent. ( I don't wish to purchase a subscription to the new version of Photoshop because I don't like the subscription model for this software.) Does anyone think that a new version Elements is superior to an old version of Photoshop?
