  1. hello everyone, I'm a graphic designer and i have some questions about selling vector stock i hope that experiencing contributors in this platforms help me get some insight. my questions are: obviously the first one will be if this worth my time? what are the best platform to sell stock vector? how many sale you have monthly? what items that sell well (posters,logos,patterns...)? how much you earn from each platform (you can avoid this if you don't feel comfortable to answer) ? individual or set? I would appreciate any help ,this will help me and help other designers that are new in vector stock contributing. thank you
  2. Greetings, this is pretty fundamental question, one I've found on-line, but not quite answered in the way I need. Several years ago I took time out from photography to learn about & work with Illustrator. I made about 100 vectors, most of which are on my port. But never having learned to draw or sketch, they were nearly all made from shapes & blends. This time, I'm approaching it from the other direction, learning to draw on paper before making any vectors. The biggest problem I've encountered thus far is not knowing how to transform a traced BMP or PNG into a vector I can modify with colors, etc. Basically I'm just wondering what processes those of you who sketch on paper for later scanning use to produce a work-file. Might be that I'm just a bit rusty on Illustrator, but for the life I can't seem to get it quite right. TIA andy
  3. Cropping a vector file Using clipping mask which includes blend shadows or gradients results to a bitmap image layer during Ai to EPS converting. Who knows how we can overcome this big problem?
  4. Hi, I'm a newbie to Shutterstock. I uploaded my created vector and submitted to the shutterstock. My work was rejected and got a message "Outline View / Pixel View -- Vector must not open in outline view / pixel preview." What does it mean? How to resolve it in Adobe Illustrator CS4? What are the options are available to avoid this problem? Please kindly help me in resolving this issue.
