  1. When I try to submit vector image there are errors despite the fact tat all field already filled. I filled all the files and press submit button - errors occurs like on screenshot. To solve it, smetimes I should click to save button, reload the page several times, and only after that image will be subbmitted successfully. I working on Mac, Google chrome last version.
  2. Hello Shutterstock, Didn't know where to write this (review/experience/improvement request) so decided to post is here because is a bit longer. The new layout for submitting looks really nice, material ui design and all that but i find it frustrating to use it for a first time. Was about to submit and submitted 270 pictures but took me way more time than with the previous layout. 1. General layout - too big thumbnails - little place for writing and selecting stuff in dropdowns (ratio 80~20%) - I don't need big thumbnails (i know my pictures i'm about to submit) , the place on the right is too cramped up and i forget to scroll down sometimes ################################################################################################################################# 2. Undo button only reverts selection backwards (doesn't clear all the field as in the beginning ) - Case: 0. nothing selected nothing populated 1. select multiple pictures 2. add title and keywords 3. deselect one or multiple pictures 4. hit the undo button multiple times - Result: = Despite hitting the undo button multiple times the state "0" will never be reached (the selection will be cleared but the pictures remain populated with title and keywords) Or maybe new button with "Clear" should be added in order to clear all the selections and start from the begging ################################################################################################################################# 3. Added 10 pictures in selection, added keywords and description, scrolled down and selected 4 more pictures (now total of 14) - After selecting the new 4 pictures the screen looked like this. The description, category and keywords dissipated! = I deselected the last 4 added pictures and the old state returned (the description and keywords were present) ~ Expected after selecting the 4 new pictures the description and keywords to be copied to the newly selected pictures ################################################################################################################################# 4. Cannot add multiple categories on a pictures from a selection (only one) - Also there is no filter in the dropdown so i have to scroll all the way down to select "Nature" for example (in the old implementation for example when hitting "N" on the keyboard the "Nature" was selected in the dropdown) ################################################################################################################################# 5. Batches now contain only 1 photo regardless is you submitted it in a multiple selection (batch) - I use the previous batches of photos i have submitted all the time to reference what i have submitted in the past and to copy some keywords - Also would be nice i i could name a multiple selection or batch with my custom name (something like "Mountain_Autumn_Photoshoot_Nov2017" or whatever), not to search through the ID numbers as is now. ################################################################################################################################# 6. Keywords suggestion tool now opens in new tab and the "Copy To Clipboard" button doesn't work - Previously the "keywords suggestion" opened in the same screen and once hitting the "Copy To Clipboard" the keywords were populated in the picture - Now "keywords suggestion" opens in new tab, after hitting "Copy To Clipboard" the keywords are not copied and had to do it manually and than transfer it to the original tab with the pictures and add comma (,) or hit enter in order to insert them Sorry for the long post, hope that someone from the UI/UX team will see this. I know that some developer will hate me in Monday but hey...   3. Greetings Uploading image problem was resolved at least in my case but now the problem starts when images need to be submitted. After keywording all my images, I select them all, submit, even got pop-up message that those were submited (no email confirmation), but they keep being in "Not yet submitted" section and nothing in "Pending approval". Those issues regarding upload and submit process always need to have priority so I really hope this will be resolved soon.
  4. Hello everyone, Every time, after submitting content to SS. When it gets approve or rejected, I receive 4 or 5 emails "Status of your recently submitted images" with the same content showing approved or rejected items. Is it a bug or is it happening only to me? Thank you in advance
  5. Hello, I am very new to this website, I recently submit the first image which was then approved. Now I see the image in the "approved" section, but it does not result as "active", thus my portfolio is still empty. In the guidelines I have not found anything about this, is it just a matter of more time to wait? Do I have to do something more to "activate" the image? Also, this might be related, if I do an image search with my tags, I do not find my photo, but I do find it if I paste the photo ID on the searchbar. Many thanks, EliaM
  6. Hi, I am posting from my husband's account since my account was disabled. Basically, my problems started when I created an account in December using email A, and forgot to use a referral link. I didn't go past the first step of the sign up process as I immediately remembered about the referral. I wrote an email to submit asking to add my account to the referral account. However, I read that they can take a while to respond, and I wanted to start posting photos right away. So I asked them to delete my account in another email, and created another one using email B but entering my driver's license, etc. They responded the next day and added account A as a referral too, but didn't delete it. I submitted my photos using account B and had about $16 in earnings, when I added email A as my paypal account email (which I think led to the main problem). I then asked for the account with email A to be deleted again, and it took a week for them to respond this time. What happened was that they deleted both accounts, even though I only asked email A to be deleted. I emailed from email B asking submit to restore my account, but a week has passed and I have no response from them. I have no idea what will happen to my earnings and files, but I think they will explain that to me once I get a response. I know I made some mistakes, but it is frustrating that they take so long to respond to an urgent issue. Is there anything else I can do to get a faster response? I guess there isn't, and will just have to wait until they respond. The moral of my story is to try and not have any problems or make mistakes, as it takes forever for Shutterstock to answer emails. I hope everything turns out ok, but want to warn others not to repeat my mistakes.
  7. Anyone else getting VERY inconsistent curation of footage approval? Been here since 2006 submitting footage and now getting very fast curation but rejections that are without bearing. Seems like editorial no longer being accepted. Even with model release attached the rejections say rejected needs model release. Editorial with appropriate byline rejected as needing property releases when there are probably millions of similar type locations accepted. Extremely slow ftp upload speeds plus mass rejections too bad that other agencies are selling the same clips that are being rejected. Great to have fast curation now but really? I see senior footage leadership and people at SS have quit and moved on. Some had been there for many years. Is this a new management direction or a lack of curation training? Frustrating and VERY expensive uploading through my slow ISP and time shooting, travel, equipment and data entry to get such inconsistant rejections like I haven't seen in the last ten years.
  8. Hi, I had several photos that i uploaded and when i push submit it appears that some essential keywords for that photo are removed automated and it gives error. How can we change this? I uploaded an example. as you can see for this photo the keywords that were removed are the essential keywords for this photo: studs, boots, shoes, woman. Dear Shutterstock Team, As of today my photos taken at the sporting event that I've provided press credential (sent to credentials@shutterstock.com) in December (12.29.2016) and in January (01.06.2017) as well are being rejected based on the reason "Press Credentials Required". Here are 120 photos that have been rejected for that reason, first two are from yesterday's batch, which is extremely frustrating. The rest of them are still awaiting for your attention. There are also five more batches waiting for your review taken at the same sporting event 129272638 129270655 129268312 129266221 129263842 Please explain how the process of relaying my press credential to actual reviewer works, it seem that this person never got my information.   10. Hi, Just Started my relationship with Shutterstock in the last few days and it has been a very rough start... I've also reached out to support, still waiting for answer.... I've uploaded photos and pressed "Save work" (which was kind of tricky as it didn't work and I had to find in one of the forums that repeating words in tags in different pair of words will keep "Save work" disabled, which is so frustrating to start with, where is the validation process and why doesn't it kick in properly?)...Ok so I did "Save work" got to my office a day after, went into the saved work while going over some submitted images for review and all the titles changed to the the same one!! I didn't reorder the list insanely or did some major web work on those images on your website in order to get such a bug, its a major issue and an embarrassing one for such a huge service that suppose to have sophisticated tools (analytics/trending/ecommerce while can't maintaining list of titles in one array for single batch?).. Tags that didn't belong to certain images, got mixed with different images.. So I was going over those photos in the submit section, while reading why some photos were rejected and I was certain that some of the new photos I was submitting didn't have a signature (because the initial ones I tried submitting had the signature), but I see only thumbnails right? right.. How do I enlarge those photos during Submit process if I am on a different computer? Well... Maybe there is a way, I didn't find one, so I can't continue the submit until I go back home to the main computer to check which images had signature (Why can't there be a click on image and enlarge or down image a person submitted in that process?) What about questions and remarks I have regarding photos I've submitted and received information that required clarification as to the description of the failure of acceptance ? Well.. I don't see any way to respond on those photos remarks, its a list of numbers and comments and I went to look for contact us regarding submit issues to contact support, wrote the numbers and the remarks you wrote and the questions I had... Why there is no respond button for such list, in app ? There is a serial batch number, there are photo numbers, all the relationships exist, but the process right now requires the user to go look for support tickets, digging through the website to find the proper channel to ask those questions ? Its beyond me or maybe I dont understand the submit process review and feedback system (one doesn't exist? its a one way?) Maybe its just me that bring a fresh set of eyes to look at the system or maybe I am not use to microstock websites/applications.. I had a different experience in 500PX which seemed smoother but I wanted to expand and try the famous Shutterstock... Maybe I will receive answers and those issues will be in our past once this initial process for the first 10 photos will be over and with it the learning curve and the strengths and weakness of the system.
  11. I uploaded a photo from the phone app yesterday and did all the metadata to submit it. It has completely disappeared. It does not show in my photos under review on the contributor web site. It doesn't show in the phone app. It has completely disappeared. Will it show up again?
  12. I am using the iPhone Contributor app for the first time and have two suggestions (complaints). I loaded a picture while in Africa, but it would not upload completely due to spotty wi-fi. That's not the problem. I came home and uploaded the picture on my own wi-fi. OK, but since I'm home, I'd like to fill in the Metadata on a device with a real keyboard (my home computer or my iPad). However, the uploaded image doesn't show up for editing in my account either on the web or the contributor app in my iPad. I would hope that all three could be unified so that an item uploaded in one could be edited in one of the other places. So I started editing my Metadata on my iPhone, tapping one letter at a time. I got to keywords. The app announces "Loading Keyword Suggestions" with a spinning thingy. I go to the keyboard and enter seven keywords manually, It continues spinning and telling me it's "Loading Keyword Suggestions." I can't load my keywords and finish the submission process. So I kill the app on my phone. Somehow, when someone adds keywords manually, the "Loading Suggestions" process needs to end. I'm sure that other people have used the app successfully, but that's just my experience that it's useless.
  13. Since a few days ago I've started encountering issues with footage upload. Certain videos, although they are available for keywording, become unavailable upon submission. In "Batches pending approval" certain clips have no thumbnail and are not processed in the system. Yesterday I've had clips reviewed after more than a week, but those clips without thumbnails were stuck and I am/was forced to delete them and reupload them. However, even from newly submitted content, there are some with the same issues. Does somebody know what is going on? Alex? Kate? Any official info?

  16. Hi Everyone, I was wondering how do I re-submit a photo that has already been accepted. I was looking at some of the earlier photos I submitted. I think one or two of them are over saturated. I wanted to go back fix them and replace the old ones. Do I just delete the entry and resubmit a new entry. I see I can edit my keywords and description of older photos, however I do not see a way to replace an old photo with a new one. Thanks, Lynn Y

  20. I have been approved by shutterstock, then after I loging in to my accouunt there is a warning on top of the page "Uploading has been disabled on this account. Please email support: support@shutterstock.com". Why can I upload my photo or vector ? I didn't make any mistakes. I think it was an error. to shutterstock admin, please help me to solve this problem. Thank you.

I try putting categories in csv file and I keep the eye on my spelling not to type wrong but I got this error, the system said "unreconized category" and the result is I got only first category, the second is blank I try many things like 1.delete space between category example : change this "Animal/Wildlife, Nature" to this > "Animal/Wildlife,Nature" 2.change case to use only lowercase example : change this "Animal/Wildlife, Nature" to this > "animal/wildlife, nature" all I got is just first one, but not the second why?

  23. ]hello i am totally new to shutterstock. i submit 10 photos before 20 days ago and they were rejected. i do not want to edit those rejected photos or submit new photos. what i want is to submit vectors. but every time when i try to upload vectors i dont have a place to submit eps.they only accept jpg. for vector submission ,submitters have to upload 10 eps and 10 jpeg. what can i do ? pls help. do i need to submit only images because on the submitter form i choose "images" pls help me to submit vectors. do you think if i wait for total 30 days would i be able to submit vectors. thanks.
