  1. I am not in SS to earn a living but to hone my photography skill and learn a thing or two from the pros here. It was one big happy family until that shitty back-to-zero 10 cts email. It will go down in history as the most demotivating and ridiculous management decision ever. Where these people graduated from don't send your children there. I have stopped uploading to lend support to my comrades here. I don't need the money but please don't insult me.
  2. I have a feeling this is SS's tactic to cut down input in order to slow down increase in storage capacity and cost.
  3. Wow! Approval was lightning fast today! Approved within seconds before I could even change my mind. Way to go SS!!!
  4. It happened often when I used lens correction to correct vertical distortion.
  5. Good idea if SS pays 25K/image, not 25cts, LOL...
  6. But will get rejected due to Image contains excessive noise, film grain, compression artifacts, and/or posterization. LOL
  7. How am I supposed to provide model release for such scenery shots?
  8. Thank you all for the advice. I think I shall include in the Description words like Texturized and Selective Focus and hope for the best.
  9. From what I read SS always stress the importance of sharp and focused images. Several of my submissions had already been rejected for out of focus. My question is: If I deliberately apply (soft) textures to my images to make them look soft are they going to get rejected?
  10. I beginning to understand now. Very kind of you to explain. Thank you very much. Hope you have a fruitful month every month...
  11. Thanks Phil for your quick reply. But actually what I meant to ask was "Is it redundant to have the same word appeared in both Description and Keyword?" (even if SS does not reject).
  12. Is it a good practice or does it make any sense to repeat in Keywords the same words already used in Description?
  13. Thank you Phil for an excellent lesson to understand this DPI thing. You are really an expert , but more importantly willing to share your expertise and teach novice like me. God bless you and have a nice weekend. Thank you again.
