  1. Thanks Paint. I agree, it is motivating.
  2. Got my first today too! 25 cents! I walked in and quit my day job.
  3. Thanks for the input Richard. I don’t know much about the end user markets at all. Your drone stuff looks great, lots of interesting subject matter. I’m trying to convince the wife we need to travel more for my work.
  4. I recently shot some impromptu video of barge traffic on the Mississippi, I was just passing through. A combination of bad stick tuning (wrong profile), and dumb thumbs led to some bad spots in the clips. Truth be told the Big Muddy made me a little nervous too. The panning was not as smooth as it could have been. My question relates to uploading clips here. Is it more benificial to upload longer clips with some minor flaws that could possibly be mitigated in post or overlooked, or to break them up first and try to sell more flaw free shorter clips? I know enough not to post train wreck stick

  7. Thanks for the advice. I had to laugh about the honest feedback part because my wife started saying "it's perfect" when I asked for critiques, rather than face me with honest criticism. I found that to be useless, so Ive learned to be a better listener.
  8. Im on a couple other forums where some get a little grouchy with the same questions again and again. I don't want to be "that guy".
  9. So, I have a question. Do most forum users rely on the search function to look for answers to questions, or is it ok to ask what's surely been asked in the past? How good is the search function? Ive not had too much luck.
  10. Thanks for the feedback on the pictures, that's a great boost because I don't feel like still photography is my strongpoint. In retrospect that old pocket instamatic couldn't have been a 110mm, 110 must have referred to some other number.
  11. Ive been lurking here for little while and thought I would say hi. Ive been an amateur for about 30 years now, starting with my little pocket 110mm that I used to carry with me on my travels. Ive been doing drone photography and video for a couple of years now. As a long time rc pilot, these new drones coming out are a dream come true. The cameras just keep getting better, and the birds themselves are a wonder of technology. I look forward to learning and sharing here.
