  1. I can't accept either. Anyone know how to deactivate your account? I can't figure it out.
  2. I haven't posted in here forever. I was making .38 per image and now its down to .10-.13 I've always made payout not even close to not since a few months after starting here many years ago. There is no way I will make payout this month. I think I am going to deactivate my portfolio. Its just not worth it anymore. Hopefully if the buyers don't have content to choose from they will go to other sites to get their images.
  3. Thanks to everyone else though. I do love the help I can get here, even if there is always one person who has to chime in with something negative.
  4. as I said I haven't contributed in a couple years. I just don't remember the settings I used to use. I think I have it figured out. Now I am remembering why I stayed away for so long...because of unhelpful comments like this.
  5. What I mean is my artwork covers the entire art board so it is also 3000x3000 pixels not just my artboard.
  6. But I already have my artboard at 3000x3000 pixels it should be more than enough. there is a colored square in the background that covers the entire artboard so when I save it it should be more than big enough. I have over 300 vectors already submitted and accepted. I've never run into this problem before.
  7. Help! I've submitted many vectors over the years but haven't done much the last couple years. My goal this year is to submit at least 15 vectors a month but I am having a problem when saving. I start with an artbox at 3000 x 3000 pixels enough to get the 4mp requirement but when I save it at the recommended settings from the shutterstock guideline page it reduces it to around 400 KB. What am I doing wrong?

  9. I don't know maybe. Or maybe the other sites are doing more promotion. DT, DP, and CS really have never been that great but do okay. Numbers is pretty good stays pretty consistent. Its FT that is skyrocketing for me, I think since Adobe took over they are really doing some good things there.
  10. Are there new model release forms? I have used the same ones for my daughters for over 5 years now no problem. Just submitted and got several images accepted last week with them. In fact some are so old that my daughter who was a preschooler in the model release form picture is now a pre teen.
  11. Thanks! I still get on to check my earnings a couple times a week but I haven't been checking the forums. Summer sales are usually slower for me but this is an all time low. Oh well at least other site are showing potential for me. I even had a representative from F. call me the other day and we talked for over an hour. They seem really interested in helping their contributors over there. They are the ones that seem to have the most potential for growth and I am making more by about 50$ this month with them than shutterstock. I just feel like a couple years ago shutterstock made changes that may have helped their bottom line but have really messed up a lot of the contributors bottom line.
  12. I'm not on here very much anymore. I have been watching as my sales seem to be hitting an all time low this month. True I haven't contributed as much lately. But I noticed awhile back that nothing new I put up was getting any sales on here anymore, so I lost motivation. My new photos sell on other sites but not here. For the first time ever my sales at another site will surpass my sales here for the month. Up until recently no one was even coming close, in fact up until about a year ago my sales here would be better than all the other sites I contribute to combined. I'm afraid shutterstock has some serious competition now and isn't doing what it needs to to stay on top. If only my sales here were what they were 3 years ago, plus what I am now making at the other sites I would have a really nice income coming in from stock. Instead while the others rise, shutterstock falls and my income stays relatively the same as it was 3 years ago.
  13. +1 my guess is that almost everyone got one and that they are going to have to fix this problem or they won't have any contributors left for their customers to by images from.
  14. I got it too, uggg really frustrated none of my titles fit within shutterstocks definition of spam. I don't even know which images need titles fixed. How am I supposed to fix something that doesn't need fixed. And how are we to know it isn't a bot that is going to check them the second time around and then suspend our accounts. My only hope is that this is so widespread that shutterstock will see the error in its program and rethink the whole idea before suspending thousands of accounts.
  15. I just got this email, I am beyond frustrated. Suspend my account?!? None of my images have spammy titles. I have thousands of images it would take weeks to go through all the titles. They passed inspection the first time around why would they not be good enough now. We need to do something about this.
