  1. At least I am not alone. I only noticed the missing images because I made the effort to go through the list of Top Performers, which I usually don't do - it's a loooong list. I wonder how many more fellow contributors have same problem, but still unnoticed. And I wonder what's behind it. Files just don't vanish like that. So, an answer from Support would be very much appreciated! Rob
  2. No, mine are old ones, according to the IDs two of them are about 8 years old, and as I mentioned one of them has been fairly successful with 84 sales.
  3. Hi, About 3 weeks ago I noticed one of my images (84 sales) is missing from the portfolio. All what's left is the image ID with the link, which leads to a message saying 'Ooops, we're sorry, we can't find what you are looking for, Error 404'. No keywords, no description left. I have no idea what image it actually is! I contacted Support, so far I only got the confirmation, that the image is indeed missing and they gonna investigate. Now, 2 more images (only 9 and 1 sales, resp.) disappeared. I informed support, no response so far. Wondering, if anyone else has noticed recently something like that? Regards, Rob
  4. I know your question is more a technical related. But: I don't know how it is in your country, but here in Australia my basic commercial drone license doesn't allow me any flights between sunset and sunrise. And I rather stick to it, because the penalties are pretty painful. The proper license would cost me almost A$5.000. Rob
  5. Thanks for your replies. Someone contacted me behind the forum and gave me the tip to check the 'famous' adjustment tab. I must admit I wasn't aware that something like an 'adjustment' tab exists. But here you are. He is right. A video sale of $27.08 has been refunded. First time in 9 years with SS that something like this happened! Disappointing, but that's the way it is, I guess! Sorry, for stirring up that topic. Best regards, Rob
  6. Sorry, to open a thread for a rather personal problem with my account, but maybe other contributors have similar experiences or issues. It looks like this is the only direct way to contact a Shutterstock employee for support nowadays. My gross income from July has been reduced overnight by about $27, without further notification, no explaining email. It has never happened before. I contacted Contributor Support, just to receive a fragment of an answer plus a link which leads to the general SS Contributor Support Site. The response begins “Hi, I am xxx, I am not a Shutterstock employee , but I am …” That’s it, please, click the link to read the rest of the answer. As I said, there is nothing else at the end of the link which gives me any help. Plus, when there is an issue with my financials I expect someone from Accounts at Shutterstock to give a proper answer and not someone hired to give me some general advise about something he can’t have a clue about. So, anyone from you at Shutterstock with the right knowledge reading this, you have my contact details, I would very much appreciate to get an answer and hopefully my $27 back. Thanks, Rob
  7. Very nice, down to earth guy! Enjoyed the interview. Thanks for sharing!
  8. "So, what’s YOUR review of 2015? Good? Bad? Indifferent?" Number of images in my portfolios about 50% more than the previous year. Sales at all the other agencies steady - but indifferent. Not more than nice pocket money. Number of sales at SS slightly less than 2014. On the other side RPD grew significantly, thanks to some very nice image sales and thanks to footage sales. Overall, best year ever. But was it worth the effort? Well, I am doing it more or less for fun - and I am still enjoying it. Might be a different story if I would depend on the microstock income.
  9. I had no doubt SS would solve the problem. But still, there are some open questions: Who? How? Why? However - good news.
  10. The only warning you should have received is that someone has obviously somehow stolen your images (who knows how many...) and is trying to clone your portfolio! But I am pretty sure Shutterstock will solve that issue. Still, shocking and scary, though. Do you have portfolios with other agencies? If yes... better check if something weird is going on there! Wouldn't mind to be kept updated. Good luck, Rob
