I cannot show it since I had my portfolio disabled June 2nd, but - my best selling image was uploaded Nov. 2014 and earned me $5759.30 with 8503 DL's (this one is seasonal so it only sells for 3 months max) - second best one was uploaded Feb. 2013 and earned me $4445.56 with 7511 DL's. - third best one was uploaded Nov. 2012 and earned me $4169.62 with 6035 DL's (this one is seasonal so it only sells for 3 months max) So yes, it is possible to earn a lot of money off of one image (the above is for SS only, the other sites do very well also, The first one above made me over 12.500 across boards)

That was my original idea also, but after the first 24 hours I had 29 downloads, one 15 cents, the other 28 all 10 cents. That, plus seeing the many screenshots posted decided me to pull all 650 images June 2nd. Good luck to you Ken!!

I don't think it's likely to get a reply from Kate still. The last one she wrote (showing below) is from June 3rd, stating the tech team thought the display issue with subs ending up in the single or others section was fixed, but they then discovered it was not entirely fixed https://forums.submit.shutterstock.com/profile/1390272-kate-shutterstock/

I was going to wait until the end of June, but after the first 24 hours I got 28 DL for $0.10 and one for $0.15. So I pulled my portfolio just after seeing that 29th 10 cents DL. 650 image down the drain, but every download coming in felt like someone spit in my face. For me, it's not what I get but what they take!

That's 94 DL's for the entire month of May? Just asking since you've got more then 25.000 images online.

LOL! I generally dislike surprises, but I'll take one of those!! And as for DP... nahhhh. I've always been happy with them, so I'm sure they will eventually send the promised email and explain what took them so long. Which reminds me, I'm still waiting for a follow up on an email 123 was suppose to send last week. Time for a reminder! Good luck with your re-evaluation! Fingers crossed :)
