  1. I've had just about 3,000 sales here. My feeling is that by reducing our payments, Shutterstock has broken the contract. We all signed up under different conditions and I'm not going to scramble to upload for the meager earning potential here. I can do much better on other stock sites. I think you've done your artists and photographers as well as yourselves, a great disservice. Lynda Lehmann
  2. Has anyone else seen their page coming up in Spanish, with half the dates on the earnings spreadsheet in month/day/year format and the other half in day/month/year format? What is going on? Thanks in advance for any replies!
  3. Barry Blackburn, I know we have no number to call, but why not call the customer number and ask them to pass it on? fredex, I use metadata but also copy from my own keyword lists and then delete what doesn't apply. I am constantly uploading lots of new work and for me, it's a real inconvenience to do the uploads 3 or more times to get a batch accepted. As you pointed out, they take a lot of illustrations and I'm used to a very high acceptance rate, as well.
  4. Thank you alpturk33 and fredex for responding. I'm glad to know it's not happening just to me. But it's not fair that we are being inconvenienced this way. It's far too time consuming to re-submit every time. I think I will call! Again, thank you.
  5. I did not know that. Thank you for the info! So "geometric abstract background" should have hyphens? If my phrases have been breaking apart, that might be the problem, because then I would have had repeated keywords. Thanks for your help.
  6. Have you used hyphens and not seen them flagged? I used nothing unusual, the same keywords I've been using for years.
  7. Thanks, Barry. It might have been a hyphen, as in blue-green. I'll let you know if I figure it out.
  8. Darla, nothing like that. I have over 3100 images on SS and have only recently had a problem! I don't understand what's going on. This was a series of abstract images in different color schemes. Thanks for your input.
  9. I am having this issue, ongoing. It's a great waste of time to have to re-submit because a new reviewer might be overzealous about keywords. Do the SS management people ever read these threads?
  10. Hi everyone. I've just had two batches rejected for this stated reason: Irrelevant keywords were used or your keywords were not in English. My keywords WERE in English and I had pared them down to a reasonable number of relevant keywords, This issue is causing me to not want to submit anymore. I have a huge collection on SS, and I would hate to have to leave. Are there maybe new reviewers on, who might overreact to our submissions? Anyone else having this problem? Thanks for any responses!
  11. Thank you so much for the info. I never had this problem before and now I will be aware of signing in at the right site. Thank you again!!!!
  12. I have the same problem, for the past several days. The site is in miniature version and I cannot function with it as is.
  13. I had a few images, variations in a series, rejected for lack of a reference image. I re-submitted the images along with the original/reference image, and they have disappeared. Are the reviewers rushing matters these days, and overlooking details? Yes, I DID enter a note to the reviewer!
  14. I digitally altered a photo of a forest/thicket and uploaded five variations: grey, darker gray, sepia, etc. And the rejection reason was that I should have provided a "reference image." I have never before heard of this on Shutterstock. Can anyone tell me what this means? Should I have uploaded the original photo for reference? And why, exactly? Thanks for any help. Lynda
