  1. I imagine it's possible, but I don't think it's profitable.
  2. Thank you @paula french! In the past I also sold 10 a day 💪
  3. Thank you all very much for your kind words! @Studio 2 Yes, you are right, maybe this is not the best section for this kind of post, I am quite new to the forum, hahah @Philip Armitage, lots of 0.1, still the average is not bad @Awana JF, the stock still has many years left, surely the agencies will end up reconverting, even so we must always be prepared for the future.
  4. Many years ago, I read a post in this same forum written by Yuri Arcurs. It was a post in which he shared that he had reached 1000 sales a day in Shutterstock. Wow! It was incredibly motivating for me to know that there was someone out there capable of achieving such high numbers. I promised myself that one day I would reach that level as well. I reached that level many months ago, but I had not shared it with anyone. So today I share with you the sales of September 30th: My best day ever 😍. I hope it will be an inspiration for many, just as it was for me. I am currently doing several interviews about my story, in different blogs. If you have a website or blog and are interested in interviewing me, it will be a pleasure. Contact me via Instagram Just for fun, how about turning this post into a "screenshot party"? Share a screenshot of your best day ever here 🙂 Aaron
  5. Yes, we are certainly focused on still images. The reason is that we need our catalog at krakenimages to be complete. We have to cover all the themes that exist (and that is a Herculean task). If we start making video, it is very likely that we would become a page that does not have much of anything. But no doubt in the future we will. @mike kuhl
  6. Wow! I see that this post has had a lot of comments since I went online last time! I'll try to answer all of them. Sorry if my English is not perfect. First of all thank you all for your kind words. Approximately 45% - 50% of our downloads come from Shutterstock, the rest come from the other agencies. The percentage has been falling over time, not because Shutterstock has gone down, but because the rest has gone up. With respect to the "bespoke agreements", I can assure you categorically that we have nothing like that. We are level 6, so our commission is 40%. I tell you something else in that respect, I doubt very much that there are any contributors who have it. Think that Shutterstock is infinitely bigger than us. Even with 1M images we are insignificant. To be honest, I have always felt that we are in a position of inferiority, not only with respect to Shutterstock, but to the rest of the large agencies. I may be wrong, but it is my opinion. If you remember the agencies let go of Yuri Arcurs, who was by far the best contributor in history. Right now our images have the same keywords in all agencies. Right now we are spending about $4,000 a month just to pay model fees. We have fixed fees. At least at this moment we are not paying more to any model than to any other. @Ackab Photography @HodagMedia @Former_Poster @chyworks @Wilm Ihlenfeld @Studio 2 @Repelsteeltje @Evgeniia Ozerkina
  7. Thank you! Here in Spain we have many sunny days a year. The sun is a great source of free light. 😊
