  1. The images made on studio are accepted, but no one buy them, because it is steril, stocky without a story. The pictures made in a real enviroment are rejected because light, composition and !!! limited commercial value. The images from really extreme place, like a surgery in a hospital, when I with camera were desinfected in three stages, my manager organized hundreds of papers to get in! The lense valued 3600$, with extreme narrow focus field, for precise focus on subject and nothing to recognize behind it. Byers want this images, look at my ballet collections from backstages, iso 3200, noise, dark, but it is pure and sells good. Many times resubmited and very sucessful now. Please, think about it and find a way to resolve it. Stock photography should grow in it's value, but only sharpness, saturated colors and dumb smiles will not provide it. My last rejection list:
  2. It is not a problem to upload 4MP, it is just I used to do, resize with bicubic sharpening, because full size images always not sharp enough for reviewer. Many years ago I've tried to upload full sized photos and got rejections almost in 100% cases. It's a pity, because I use 21 MP camera for 6 years already. I work mostly with 1.2 diaphragma and I am surgically precise with focus, but reviewers don't like such a extreme DOF. Let me know if possible more accurate focuse evaluation, I can also upload full size. a.
  3. And other 10% they reject by another reason, not because of defenition, although it is the same 2000. Friend of mine just remembered, that old contributors can upload images from 2.3 MP a.
  4. It is more than strange, because previously it was impossible to upload the image if it is smaller than necessary. All the imeges I uploaded to ss was 2000px by long side till august 17, 2014. Is it new rules ? thanks, a.
  5. Thanks, I have sent.
  6. Hello to everyone, Is it a new submission style, when submitting a batch 90% are rejected at the same moment when i press submit button, without any reason, not even come to review area, other 10% rejected within 1 minute with 1 common rejection reason? Is it technical problem or new rules for those, who reached 5000 images in the portfolio? Or what does it mean? thanks, Anna
