I would suggest that you find out for yourself if your landscapes will sell. Mine sold extremely well while I was uploading them. They quit selling here about 2 years after I ran out of images to upload. (Circumstances have kept me from doing much shooting since 2010. But hopefully that will all change next month.)

As for your candy picture: You should strive for sharpness throughout the picture. Read up on how to increase depth of field in a studio situation.

Thanks for the advice.  Thank goodness for digital so I don't feel bad taking hundreds of photos that aren't quite right in the learning process.  I would have spent a lot of money in film by now! Though I do have a certain nostalgia for actual film.

Don't forget about all the money it takes to process the film! The only way to improve is to shoot, shoot, shoot!
