hahaha!!! What a ribbiting response, Paul.   :)   (ribbiting sounds like riveting...yeah, I knew you got it)

But seriously, pretty good photo, Pamela.  I do think you need some fill light (or more of it) to help lighten up the shadowy area.

It's a little better! I would suggest looking into getting an on-camera flash to use for fill light. Laurin and several others have talked it about here on the threads including the model/make of the flash they've used.

Sorry to post off topic here, can I plead ignorance or insanity?

Can anyone help me with starting a new thread on the critique forum? I've tried and it keeps acting like it's just wanting to add more photos to my albums?! Lol, not sure what I'm doing wrong, I've tried 3 times and now it shows my name as if I've got 3 different album titles maybe with zero photos on the photo critique page when I'm on it. Feeling a bit dumb here hehe.  I'm new to Shutterstock (under 2 months with under 90 photos on the site & had questions I was trying to ask that the critique page kept kindly erasing for me hahaha) and this is the first time I've tried to speak on the forums.

If you can help me start a thread there I'll put my questions and a few photos that were rejected to get some valuable answers :)

Hopefully someone can straighten me out!

Thanks so much!!

I want to get a lens mounted flash for my macro... Sometimes I put a piece of tissue or note paper over my camera flash... it works somewhat if the naturl lighting is already ok, and my lens doesn't make a shadow lol
