Why not just submit that photo straight?  It looks like you autotraced it, then saved as a jpg.  Why?  That doesn't make it an "illustration".

I'm not autotrace it, darla. If you understand what is it autotrace.

Why?

Because that, in my opinion the best for the target audience this image. I can send and photos. I am interested in is this rejection. Why reviewer clicks to reject bad vector in the image, which is not a vector.

Map of America made in a similar technology and uploaded for 5 minutes before this image - approved.

Probably a mistake by the reviewer.

Maybe resubmit stating its a JPG and not a vector and or photo.

But make sure you have the original sample photo with a signed release.

But first, be sure that the original photo is yours and not a random one from online or some other person since this is not allowed. :)

Perhaps reviewers frightened by the new vector policy  SS :)

In any case, I written model release .... but In rejected image in the key word was "color revolutions." Maybe this is considered wrong trace ....

I'd consider that a photo with a filter over it. Not an illustration.

people buy it, and me don't care what everyone thinks...

Really. If you don't care then why keep posting? Just do whatever it is you do and who cares....I think the image is fine. Let it go man. and Im sorry to say and please don't think Im rude But, your critiquing others when you have no clue what your doing yourself, Personally that drives me nuts and also when others do it.. And Im so sorry about the translation issue but reading what you write is sometimes like watching Yoda on star wars speak, I have no clue what your saying.. Looking at your portfolio lets just say ...Your lucky , Very Lucky.

Our goal here is to see a talent, Help them develop an eye and take this farther. I think we have enough folks here that really don't want this or care to do the work......They just wanna play.. They do there 50/100 Images and there gone when they realize it's tough. Multiply that thinking by 10,000 and theres the issue with sales. and dilution of Portfolios.

I asked the question. I got the answer - mistake by the reviewer.. Obviously, this image approved. But a person writes that this is not an illustration. A person does not know that is illustration on SS? I replied. This is a forum. Yes, I was not interested in the irrelevant opinion.

I see very little folks who really can be helped for newbie.

I'm sorry If you do not understand ...translation

Sorry Fixzah, I'm an illustrator. Hence I know what illustrations are. Period.

Period? Perhaps but at the moment SS thinks art filter processed should be presented as an illustration. Not like a photos. Submitted as illustration. This SS rule. Maybe once it was different. Or it will be different. Period? :)

Yes, you're right. Shutterstock doesn't know itself into which category some images should go. That's frustrating, and in my opinion, also can lead to a lot of stuff being declined. I hope everything will turn out alright for you.

I am having problems receiving the "Unacceptable Auto Trace" rejection message on illustration images that were not Auto Traced. Two of my hand drawn, scanned illustration JPGs have been rejected for this reason, and one was accepted although it was made in the exact same process.
I have searched and searched and although I can find others with the same problem - no solutions!

Help?
