Hello all!! Ok, so I haven't been on the site in pretty close to 10 years, and decided today to submit a few things for the heck of it. I got a couple of things accepted. I am surprised they didn't like my food shots. Reasons for rejection are noise and artifacts. I wonder if this is what they select if DOF is too shallow. I shoot this work for my blog and Instagram, so it works for me. Going forward, if I shoot extra exposures for Shutterstock should I just stop down more? I don't really care for the sharp images, but I'm looking to post stuff over here and flesh out my gallery. I can easily shoot the same image with a different DOF for shutterstock. I'd love some input from you all who have been active on here.
