Hi to all,
I am new to Shutterstock and also never had a more knowledgable opinion on my shots with regards to ... everything really ... technical execution, composition etc.
I am including in the album photos which I quiet like however would like to hear your professional feedback, suggestions and opinions of them.
Please, give me some feedback on these two pictures.. The right side of the image has slightly different tone, tried to fix it and it looks better but still catches my eye.. Do you think pictures are overdone or is it just me... ? Thank you!
I just recently created a Shutterstock contributor profile. I shoot all my photos using a Nikon D5500 with a 18-55mm lens and a AF-S DX Nikkor 55-300mm f/4.5-5.6G ED VR Lens. I have not had a single download and am wondering what I'm doing wrong? I only have 13 photos, but I plan on adding more.
Everything about the pictures I take and have posted up here, are all symbols of life and the passion I have for photography. Nature and People are my main focus. Promoting beauty in life and nature, and the positive vibe it brings us all. Promoting growth and progress, love and friendship, inspiring others with images of the world they are involved in.
Thought I'd try submitting this shot even though the stars are blurry, because the mountains in the foreground are sharp. It was rejected for being out of focus.
Camera settings: f2.8, 800ISO, 30 seconds, focus set to infinity
Even when I bump up the ISO and decrease the exposure time, the stars are always out of focus.
I'm wondering if this image should be acceptable with blurry stars, or if there's something I'm missing about how to shoot the Milky Way.
I´m new on Shutterstock. Please give me advice. Is it possible to refocus photos in post processing?
Probably long way and hard few days comp works retouching can help? So boring...
I just play in some programs. As you see result is
How you can call this style of potography I represented?
Conceptual retro eclecticism or modern - retro eclectic photography?
Do I need Model Realise for this photos? Dress have not exclusive designers intellectual copyright.
I am new to shutter stock. While most of my images are been accepted. A few are being rejected. One of the main reasons is "visible Trademarks". Sometimes its like "oh okay i get it" but some of them is like they are rejected because there is a billboard on a building or the companies name on the building i.e AA insurance. I mean it is the companies building. Is that okay? Should i resubmit?
Also this one was also rejected because of visible trademarks. The only think I could think there is a visible trademark on is the boat in the background? Should i resubmit this aswell?
P.S this was taken a very long time ago but going through my historical stuff and uploading anything i think someone may like.
I am an amateur photgrapher using a Nikon d5200, still learning the ropes, but im trying to get at least a toe through the door into the world od selling my photography! Tips and advice on this collection would be tremendously appreciated! Im familiar with the rule of thirds and how important lighting and angles are, but still a lot to learn!
