Looking for feedback on isolation images...

What do you search on YouTube for guidance on training...I use iPad Pro photoshop mix.

Any best practices?

This is first try on a selection of items I pulled out of the garden last night.  Wanted to see what it took to pull an image and create shadow.

I am aware of some technical issues such as the salt is blown out in white...looking for mostly where to learn more on the post production of cutting out and shading.

Also any thoughts on market for images like this and how they prefer them formatted...

Do you submit as photo or illustration

The composition seems busy to me. Why not try simplifying things. Get rid of the chopping board, the scene don't really need a wooden surface on top of a wooden surface. Also lose the salt bowl and heap a small salt pile up on the table. Maybe put the oil in the empty triangle at the back. Even ditch the wooden basket and go for a loose pile of vegetables.  Less is more ... Also you could angle the knife blade so it catches some light, the knife looks like a silhouette.
